1. Callaway (Jackson)2013-14 record: 32-1, Class 5A state champions
Head coach: David Sanders
Star senior guard
Malik Newman could go down as Mississippi's greatest all-time high school basketball player. The 6-foot-3 scoring machine has led the Chargers to back-to-back-to-back state championships and a three-year record of 83-14. Newman has also helped USA Basketball to a pair of state titles the last two summers. Five others who played significant minutes a year ago for Callaway also return.
