Basketball Recap: Hinckley-Finlayson Takes a Loss

Hinckley-Finlayson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 52-39 to the East Central Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-48 back in December of 2024.

Hinckley-Finlayson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for East Central, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Hinckley-Finlayson has already played their next matchup, a 58-52 victory against Denfeld on the 1st. As for East Central, they will challenge Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
