It was a proper cat-fight when West Linn duked it out withTigard on Tuesday. The West Linn Lions breezed by the Tigard Tigers to the tune of 49-13. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.

West Linn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylor Buse led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Buse a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reese Jordan, who posted 13 points and eight steals.

West Linn smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

West Linn's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42 points. As for Tigard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

West Linn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-43 victory against Oregon City on the 31st. Tigard has also already played their next contest (against St. Mary's Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
