Basketball Recap: Jed Dickens Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Taylor County

After losing to Taylor County the last time they met, North Florida Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The North Florida Christian Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Taylor County Bulldogs 59-56.

North Florida Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jed Dickens out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Jace Riggan, who posted 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

North Florida Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Taylor County, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Florida Christian will face off against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wakulla at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Taylor County is facing Wakulla at the right time seeing as Wakulla is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
