Baseball Game Preview: Farmington Phoenix vs. Weber Warriors

The Farmington Phoenix will challenge the Weber Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Farmington and four for Weber.

Farmington lost 12-5 to Fremont on Friday.

Farmington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Another was Max Pearson, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Weber suffered their closest loss since May 8, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Layton by a score of 7-5.

Weber's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Farmington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Farmington took their victory against Weber when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-2 score. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
