Soccer Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton was the 3-2 winner over Parkway Central when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Colts by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Clayton have lost by just one goal.

Clayton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Parkway Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Clayton will venture away from home to face off against Perryville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkway Central, they will take on North Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
