Football Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Greenville fell victim to Midlothian Heritage and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Jaguars 41-0. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 689th, while the Jaguars are ranked 61st).

Midlothian Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dax Montelongo led the charge by throwing for 187 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 14-for-14 passing. Another rusher making a difference was Za'Ko Davis, who rushed for 118 yards and one score while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Greenville is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Midlothian Heritage, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
