Baseball Recap: Upper Lake Comes Up Short

Upper Lake's last matchup with Cloverdale could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Upper Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Cloverdale, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Upper Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cloverdale, they will face off against Middletown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
