Baseball Recap: Rush-Henrietta Comes Up Short

Rush-Henrietta lost against McQuaid Jesuit back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royal Comets fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-4. The Royal Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rush-Henrietta saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Wright, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Jake Militello also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Rush-Henrietta's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for McQuaid Jesuit, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Rush-Henrietta will host Spencerport at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McQuaid Jesuit, they will take on Christian Brothers Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
