Caston has gone 6-1 against Oregon-Davis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Comets will host the Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Caston came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Lafayette Central Catholic, falling 24-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Comets have suffered since April 12th.

Caston saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Holloway, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another was Tucker Woolever, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Oregon-Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-0 to Triton.

Oregon-Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Caston, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Caston beat Oregon-Davis 7-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
