Basketball Recap: Tahlequah's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Tahlequah managed to keep up with Memorial until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Chargers an easy 58-38 win. The Tigers have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Memorial's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Garrett, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. Garrett has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 11 times he's played. Shon King was another key player, going 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points and six assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tahlequah fell to 3-1. As for Memorial, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Tahlequah will take on Stilwell in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Memorial and Claremore will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
