Avonworth won the last time they faced East Allegheny and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Antelopes put the hurt on the Wild Cats with a sharp 15-1 win. Considering the Antelopes have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mason Metz was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Declan Ehrin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Avonworth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Avonworth pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
