Softball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Lake Stevens Vikings, falling 10-1. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cascade saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Luraghi, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lake Stevens, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cascade is set to take on their familiar foe Arlington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lake Stevens will square off against rival Glacier Peak at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
