Basketball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Eau Claire

Eau Claire won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Friday too. The Eau Claire Shamrocks secured a 59-54 W over the Columbia Capitals. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Shamrocks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading Eau Claire to victory were Gregory Williams and AJ Garner. Williams posted ten points along with seven assists and three steals, while Garner earned 16 points. Williams is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adin Davis-Young, who had 11 points and six boards.

Eau Claire's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Columbia, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
