The Dwight Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Lexington Minutemen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dwight is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Dwight lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Henry-Senachwine, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. Dwight put the hurt on Henry-Senachwine with a sharp 17-2 win on Tuesday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

The team relied heavily on Luke Gallet, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Ryan Bumpous was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Dwight always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Lexington started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Seneca. They fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 6-5 on Saturday.

Jaxson Goodrich was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Barber, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Dwight now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
