Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Notre Dame can now relate to. They were dealt an 87-39 loss at the hands of the St. Peter's Prep Marauders on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Irish can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Marauders are ranked fourth).

Notre Dame has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. The win (which was St. Peter's Prep's fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

As of now, neither Notre Dame nor St. Peter's Prep have any future games scheduled.
