It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mohave Accelerated had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Desert Heights Prep Yote to the tune of 58-0. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Yote: they've now won six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mohave Accelerated to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylan Krahenbuhl, who threw for 165 yards and five TDs on only nine passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Krahenbuhl a new career-high. Owen Honegger was in the mix too, providing Mohave Accelerated with three scores.

Mohave Accelerated's run defense was locked in: Desert Heights Prep could only muster -2.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Laisyc Conlogue for the heroic effort on defense: he. Mohave Accelerated didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.2.

Mohave Accelerated's defense didn't let Justin Aguon, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Conlogue and Jerry Torres, who racked up all six sacks between them. Drake Knight got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mohave Accelerated's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Desert Heights Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
