Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sheridan). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 75-73 victory over the Philo Electrics on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-59 last Saturday.

Despite the loss, Philo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carter Crabtree went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Crabtree a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rusty Trout, who posted ten points.

Sheridan now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Philo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Sheridan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-48 defeat against John Glenn on the 7th. As for Philo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-51 loss against Tri-Valley on the 7th.
