Baseball Recap: Excel Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Six

Excel Christian Academy won against Campbell on Thursday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Excel Christian Academy Eagles didn't even let the Yantis Owls on the board, marking the Excel Christian Academy Eagles' second-straight 16-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row dating back to last season.

J. Wyatt Hoskins made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Ashton McKnight was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. C Langley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
