Xavier Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Coachella Valley on Saturday. Xavier Prep fell 57-47 to Coachella Valley. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Twentynine Palms was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brawley.

Twentynine Palms' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Xavier Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Xavier Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Twentynine Palms when the teams last played on December 12th, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Xavier Prep since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
