Basketball Recap: Midway Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Midway was the 49-46 winner over Shoemaker when they last played one another back in November of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Midway Panthers fell to the Shoemaker Wolves 54-50. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midway's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-7. As for Shoemaker, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

When Midway and Shoemaker next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Midway will try to stop Bryan's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shoemaker will take on Harker Heights and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
