Baseball Recap: Corinth Has No Trouble Against Northville

Corinth won the last time they faced Northville and things went their way on Monday too. The Riverhawks put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 13-5 victory. The Riverhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Corinth let Sam Tangora and Keegan Baker run wild. Tangora went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Baker got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those five stolen bases gave Tangora a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Baker, who went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Corinth and bumps their season record up to 6-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Northville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

As of now, neither Corinth nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
