Basketball Game Preview: Blue Earth Buccaneers vs. St. James Saints

Blue Earth is on a five-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, St. James a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Saturday. The Blue Earth Buccaneers will host the St. James Saints at 7:00 p.m. Blue Earth has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 230 points over their last three contests.

Last Thursday, Blue Earth ended up a good deal behind Jackson County Central and lost 76-60.

Meanwhile, St. James came up short against Maple River on Thursday, falling 68-43.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Blue Earth, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Blue Earth strolled past St. James when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 82-64. Will Blue Earth repeat their success, or does St. James have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
