Football Recap: Reservoir Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Reservoir's offense. They fell 13-0 to the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 37 points in the game before, the 'Gators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Reservoir and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Marriotts Ridge, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Reservoir will host Hammond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marriotts Ridge, they will challenge Mt. Hebron at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
