Calvary Baptist's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They came out on top against Hawthorne by a score of 5-0.

Reagan Hanson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Hanson wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bri Rosales, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Isabella Macias was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Calvary Baptist's record now sits at 16-4. As for Hawthorne, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-14 record.
