Football Game Preview: Wissahickon Trojans vs. Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials

Wissahickon hasn't had much luck against Plymouth Whitemarsh recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Colonials at 7:00 p.m. Wissahickon is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Wissahickon is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing William Tennent: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Trojans blew the Panthers out of the water with a 35-0 final score. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Plymouth Whitemarsh against Hatboro-Horsham on Friday as the squad secured a 42-9 victory. With the Colonials ahead 28-3 at the half, the game was all but over already.

The win got Plymouth Whitemarsh back to even at 3-3. As for Wissahickon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Wissahickon couldn't quite finish off Plymouth Whitemarsh in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 37-34. Thankfully for the Trojans, Everett Baker (who rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
