Volleyball Recap: Pittsfield Generals vs. West Springfield Terriers

Pittsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the West Springfield Terriers. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terriers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Pittsfield started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-14, 28-26.

Pittsfield's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brenna Bellefontaine, who had four aces and three digs, and Gionnah Levardi, who had eight digs and two aces. The dominant performance gave Levardi a new career-high in aces.
