Volleyball Recap: Windsor Charter Academy Find Success

Windsor Charter Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 win over The Academy Wildcats on Saturday. The Firebirds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Megan Duchlinski and Olivia Deleon certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Duchlinski had 13 digs and two aces, while Deleon had eight kills and seven digs. Ava Gallegos also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Windsor Charter Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for The Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

Windsor Charter Academy has already played their next matchup (against Gunnison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. The Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
