Basketball Game Preview: Orme Warriors vs. Trinity Christian Warriors

The Orme Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Trinity Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orme has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with five straight defeats, while Trinity Christian will come in with ten straight victories.

Orme is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 59 points last Monday, they were much more limited against Verde Valley on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 20-19 to the Coyotes.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against BASIS - Prescott on Tuesday as the squad secured a 61-31 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Orme, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Orme was dealt a bruising 63-27 defeat at the hands of Trinity Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can Orme avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
