Basketball Game Preview: Advanced Tech Academy Lakers vs. Rose Leadership Academy

The Advanced Tech Academy Lakers will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Rose Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Advanced Tech Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Rose Leadership Academy likes a good challenge.

Last Wednesday, Advanced Tech Academy humbled Taylor Prep with a 55-26 victory. The Lakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Advanced Tech Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.8 points. As for Rose Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Advanced Tech Academy might still be hurting after the 58-36 loss they got from Rose Leadership Academy in their previous meeting back in January. Can Advanced Tech Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
