Central Rivers (8 Man) recap Oct. 16, 2012

Northwest took down Norborne 64-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Hardin-Central led Central Rivers (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 80 points on Chilhowee.

Chilhowee's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Colter Armstrong has thrown for 831 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Josiah Carr has 17 catches for 292 yards. Armstrong also leads the league in rushing with 473 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Indians and the Mustangs. Chilhowee comes into the matchup ranked 15th in the state, while Northwest ranks fifth.

Two of the top units in Central Rivers (8 Man) will face off this week when Gary Ligon's team takes on Caleb Crooker's team. The Indians' offense has scored 197 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Mustangs have allowed only 228 on the year.

The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Chilhowee's Armstrong. He connected with Joseph Boyle on a 54-yard throw and catch as the Indians fell to the Bulldogs.
