It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Crane ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They walked away with a 77-68 win over the Purdy Eagles. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Eagles are ranked 375th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crane has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Purdy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
