Broomfield faced Legacy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lightning. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Broomfield couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Tomi Giwa, who's now up to five this season.

Broomfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2. As for Legacy, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 9-0-3.
