McBain and Evart are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Ramblers will head out to challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McBain has three straight victories, Evart has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, everything came up roses for McBain against Lake City as the squad secured a 56-6 win. The matchup marked the Ramblers' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Evart fell victim to Beal City and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Aggies 64-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Evart's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for McBain, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

McBain was able to grind out a solid victory over Evart in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 36-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ramblers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
