Acevedo came up big in Adams City's 52-20 win
Mayte Acevedo turned in his biggest game of the season on Tuesday, scoring no points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was her fourth in a row with two or more blocks. For the season, Acevedo has averaged 0.4 points, 1.7 blocks, and 5.8 rebounds per game.
Adams City and Thornton will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Acevedo will face off against Camryn Montelongo on Thursday, Thornton's star guard. Will Acevedo turn in another gem to overcome Adams City? We'll have our answer very soon.
