Basketball Recap: Eleanor McMain Comes Up Short

Eleanor McMain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles. The Mustangs lost against the Fighting Eagles in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-32 score last time.

Eleanor McMain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Warren Easton, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eleanor McMain will welcome Bonnabel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warren Easton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Slidell at 5:10 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Eagles will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
