Softball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Riverview hit Canton with a six-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cobras came up short against the Pirates, falling 13-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cobras have suffered since May 10th.

Canton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avarie Spuller, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Canton and nudges their season record down to 11-15-1. As for Riverview, they pushed their record up to 24-8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Canton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverview, they will face off against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
