Basketball Recap: Myrtle Point Takes a Loss

Myrtle Point lost against Lost River back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Myrtle Point Bobcats lost 68-43 to the Lost River Raiders. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Myrtle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lost River, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Myrtle Point will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coquille at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Myrtle Point is facing Coquille at the right time seeing as Coquille is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lost River, they will be taking part in a tournament against Chiloquin at 4:45 p.m. on December 28th.
