Soccer Game Preview: Chavez vs. McFarland

The Chavez Titans will face off against the McFarland Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Chavez proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Shafter get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when McFarland duked it out with Wasco on Thursday. The Cougars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The loss was McFarland's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, McFarland fell to 18-1-4. As for Chavez, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-10-3.
