Football Game Preview: Central Bronchos vs. Waurika Eagles + How To Watch

Central hasn't had much luck against Waurika recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bronchos are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.

Central will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Maysville, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bronchos put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 48-24 win on Friday. Considering the Bronchos have won four matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Waurika's offense. They were outmatched by Dewar and fell 46-0. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Waurika now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Central took a serious blow against Waurika in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 68-14. Can the Bronchos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
