Softball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dora's offense. They came up short against the Bakersfield Lions on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Dora's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bakersfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Dora will venture away from home to square off against Koshkonong at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Jays have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.29 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bakersfield, they will host Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
