Basketball Recap: Lone Oak Comes Up Short

After soaring to 59 points the game before, Lone Oak was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 69-21 defeat at the hands of the Rains Wildcats. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lone Oak's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Rains, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Winnsboro the next time they take the court. Lone Oak will head out to face Winnsboro at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rains will host them at 6:45 p.m. on December 20th.
