Volleyball Recap: Skyline Falcons vs. Holy Family Tigers

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Holy Family Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Skyline was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Holy Family's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-22.

Gabriela Medina-Valdez paced Skyline's offense, picking up 11 kills. Medina-Valdez got some help from Lizeth Medina-Valdez and her 19 assists. Mikaela Stromquist controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Holy Family, their victory ended a six-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10.
