Softball Recap: Southeast Alamance Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Southeast Alamance finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Jordan-Matthews Jets by a score of 2-1. The contest marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southeast Alamance saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Lloyd, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Lloyd is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Brooke Hardister also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Southeast Alamance now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Jordan-Matthews, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Southeast Alamance will face off against Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jordan-Matthews, they will take on Chatham Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
