Basketball Recap: The Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 69-45 to the Delaware County Christian Knights. The Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.

Delaware County Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Toby Morton, who shot 56% from the field en route to 16 points and five rebounds. Bradford Berwick was another key player, putting up 12 points along with seven boards and four steals.

The Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Delaware County Christian, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

The Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 45-44 win against Jenkintown on the 15th. As for Delaware County Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-55 victory against Atlantic Christian on the 13th.
