Volleyball Recap: Slidell Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Slidell had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northlake Christian Wolverines. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Slidell not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Northlake Christian between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-17.

Ava Barduca paced Slidell's offense, picking up 16 kills. Barduca got some help from Ava Labat and her 45 assists. Finally, Barduca was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Slidell's win bumped their record up to 31-7. As for Northlake Christian, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-12-1.

Slidell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northlake Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pearl River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
