Taft's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Marshall Rams. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Taft had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-20, 25-11, 25-11.

Taft can attribute much of their success to Katie Pauley, who had 15 assists and ten digs. That's the most digs Pauley has posted since back in August.

Taft was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marshall only served five.

Taft's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Marshall, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-27.

Taft didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Holmes on the 30th. As for Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Warren on the 30th.
