Basketball Recap: Philo Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tri-Valley, Philo was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the New Lexington Panthers by a score of 35-28. This was payback for the Electrics, who suffered a 61-40 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Philo back to even at 4-4. As for New Lexington, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Philo will head out to take on John Glenn at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Lexington, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Meadowbrook at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. New Lexington is facing Meadowbrook at the right time seeing as Meadowbrook is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
