Basketball Recap: Jerrell Nealy Key Part of Team Effort in Mustangs Win

Medina lost to Wilson back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Medina Mustangs managed a 68-63 win over the Wilson Lakemen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Medina's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jerrell Nealy, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Moss, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 13 points and eight boards.

Medina was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Medina's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
