Medfield and Hopkinton are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Warriors will host the Hillers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
While Medfield's  win against Holliston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Panthers  8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Warriors have posted  since May 15, 2024.
 Tess Baacke was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lindsay Barrett, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Medfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  game, Hopkinton made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Millis  on Monday. The Hillers were the clear victors by  a  13-1 margin over the Mohawks. The result was nothing new for the Hillers, who have now won seven contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Medfield and  bumps their season record up to 3-6. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hopkinton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
 Medfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Hopkinton in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, sneaking past  11-9. Do  the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hillers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
